Akyat Pinatubo Climb For A Cause

It was June 15, 1991 When Mt. Pinatubo eruption happens. I was only 9 years old then
and I remember the times when everyone in our neighborhood were busy removing ash falls
in their roof.  I was very happy that time because of one week class suspension. But, when I watched the news and saw what happened in barangays in Tarlac and Pampanga, I felt bad and
realized that it was a serious matter.

It was the second largest eruption of the 20th century. Mount Pinatubo Volcano had been dormant for 400 years.

The effect of erruption was very devastating and it destroyed Irrigation systems, water
service facilities, power transmission and lateral lines, roads bridges and other
infrastructures were damaged mainly by lahars while houses and public buildings
collapsed from the weight of accumulated ash deposits.
Those were the memories of  Mt.Pinatubo 10 years ago. I cant imagine how can they can recover from such disaster. But, Nothing is impossible with God.  The nature recovers itself and bring back its beauty.

After a decade, Mt. Pinatubo became one of the tourist spot in the Philippines. I dont want to miss the opportunity to witness the beauty of Mt. Pinatubo.

I already climbed 2 mountains this year (Pico de loro and Mt.Maculot) and Mt.Pinatubo would be my Third.
